The Pleasant Valley Climate Smart committee invites everyone who attended the information session in January back to get down to planning the Pleasant Valley Community Garden. This talk is centered around site assessment and planning including: garden location, type of growing bed, preparation of soil, protection from critters, essential tools, maintenance (Weeds, mulching, watering and fertilizing), succession planting and other extending the growing season. Join us on Tuesday, February 7th at 6pm is for those seriously interested in seeing this endeavor blossom.
