Pleasant Valley Climate Smart and PV Community Gardeners will present the enlightening video, "Nature's Best Hope: Conservation That Starts in Your Yard" by Doug Tallamy, professor in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware, author of books and research articles, and founder of the Homegrown National Park Movement.

Afterwards, they'll share practical ways to get started in creating home landscapes that restore habitat and support the biodiversity vital to healthy ecosystems. Learn about site assessment for ecology, gardening with native plants, and managing invasive species to create pollinator pathways throughout our area. Free seed packets will be provided by Climate Smart.
