Join Pleasant Valley Climate Smart on Tuesday, May 10th at 6pm to watch this informative and entertaining 2017 documentary, produced by Anthony Bourdain. "Wasted" takes you around the world, showing the 1.3 billion tons of food that gets thrown out each year and the people fighting hardest to prevent it. Famous chefs will show how they make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system.

Afterwards, members of Pleasant Valley Climate Smart's Task Force will lead a brief discussion of the movie, and will also talk about their work to support our community in building a sustainable and balanced climate action programs, one step at a time - and how you may be able to help!
