Calling all teens, age 12 - 17! Come on in to our Teen Room and create an original art poster showing a favorite of yours, and we'll submit it to the "My Favorite Thing" Poster Contest that's sponsored by Poughkeepsie Kiwanis Charitable Foundation! There is no right or wrong - use your imagination to show a favorite place, person, thing, animal, sport, movie, book, etc (real or make-believe) and have fun! We'll supply the poster board, colored pencils, markers, crayons and other materials, and we'll arrange delivery of the poster entries to Kiwanis. They will judge on creativity, appearance, design, expression, and staying with the theme. The Kiwanis Club will notify winners by March 29th, and will award prizes. The posters will be displayed through the month of April at Poughkeepsie Train Station where participants can visit to see everyone's art!
